MY "GO TO" FOUNDATION

Definately my favourite high-street foundation. I have dry skin, and it gives me a slight dewy look, which is what i look for in a foundation. It gives a medium coverage, but is buildable if you need full coverage. I tend to apply one layer, and it covers most blemishes. It does not last 16 hours, but it does last pretty much all day.

My original shade was 51, which i found matched my skin pretty well, but throughout the day it would tend to oxidize and end up looking slighty darker. I also found that my skin needed to be cleansed and really moisturised before applying, otherwise it would stick to my dry patches and look cakey and flakey. Would be a perfect shade for someone quite pale with a yellow undertone.

My shade now is 53, and matches my skin perfectly. I find it applys better, and somehow gives an even more dewy "fresh-faced" finish than shade 51. This shade doesn't stick to any dry patches and covers blemishes even better.

Overall i would say; awesome foundation, affordable, one pump does the job, darker shades work better, lasts all day, natural finish, buildable.

I recently bought this lipgloss, purely based on the colour, not expecting anything more than just an average lipgloss, but i was pleasantly suprised when i put it on and found... IT ISN'T STICKY! :D Finally, a lipgloss in the perfect colour, that wears off nicely, without leaving white patches all over my lips! The colour i wear is 'beige elastic'. It is the perfect nudey colour for my skin tone.

I usually only wear this at night because i find that it can look a little too much for daytime, unless i go really light with my eyes, as it is super shiney and super pigmented. I love how it looks on my lips, but i would definately like to see a matte lipgloss in this colour.

HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT

By far my favourite palette at the minute. I have been using it just about everyday for the past 2/3 months, and the only shade that has hit the pan yet is 'smog'. My "quick, easy, go to look" is created using 'naked' all over the lid, or sometimes 'smog', 'buck' through the crease, 'darkhorse' in the outer V and along the lashline and 'half baked' as a highlight in the inner corner. These shades really bring the green out in my hazel eyes, but i think they would be especially flattering on blue eyes.

I'd say ten out of the twelve shades are super pigmented and have amazing pay-off. The only shades I find don't have as much pay-off, although they are great highlight shades, are 'virgin' and 'sin'. They are still useable, i just have to pack them on more than the others.

The only negative thing I have to say about this palette is that i find i get quite a lot of fall out, especially with the darker shades and shimmery shades, which means i have to do my eyes first then do my base.

Definately worth the money, would definately re-purchase and will definately be trying out the Naked 2 palette.
