A quick way to incorporate color with a pop. Step 1: Taking a matte, sky blue pat it softly all over the eyelid, bringing it slightly to the crease/socket-line. We want it a little higher, so the crease/scoket-line color can blend into the eyelid color better. Step 2: Now with the brightest purple you have, take a domed brush and swirl it into the crease/socket-line. Make sure that the colors appear to fade from the purple to the blue. This means that you’ll need to balance between blending enough, and not make the colors look too muddy. Oh, for this look, you can make the crease/socket-line color go as high as you like. In my case, I want the purple to peek through when I open my eyes. Step 3: To make the eyes stand out more, use the cat-eye look. Why? Well, that’s to add some drama to the eyes, and to give the eyes a little more definition, because cat eyes elongate the eye horizontally, while the eyeshadow goes out and up. Step 4: To prevent the black eyeliner from closing off the eye too much, apply the purple used on the crease/socket-line onto the eyeliner on the waterline, and then apply the blue on the lower lashline. Step 5: Add false lashes of your choice and define your brows. Make sure you extended the “tail” of the eyebrow slightly to where the cat-eye wing or your eyeshadow ends. to give your eyes a lift to make you look more awake. Step 6: If you want to make the look a little interesting, add some teal shimmer on the lids. Only a tiny little bit to the center of the lids. Oh yes, if you find the upper side of the purple too harsh, do take some ballet-pink on a CLEAN brush and lightly blend the upper line to soften the edges. Step 7: For this look, I wanted the eyes to take precedence, followed by the lips, so I decided to give the lips a medium-pink color that’s a little nude, but a little pink. The cheeks, however, sport a little contouring and highlighting.
