It sounds like a great remedy for the blackheads I get on my nose, but I'm worried it'll cause breakouts. My prom's in a week, I can't afford that!! Is there any reason I shouldn't use Elmer's glue to remove my blackheads?

I've tried that, didn't work. I'm pretty sure the chemicals in the glue doesn't help with your skincare or anything like that.

I haven't tried glue, but I've always use biore pads for my nose, it always gets most of them out and clears my pores (:

Michelle Chan has a great video for a homemade peel for clearing pores that my friend uses without irritation. It can be found on YouTube. I'd be certain to do a test patch first. Biore strips work well as do CVS' version of Biore.

Since it is prom, I'd use the Biore and not experiment. Have fun!

I wouldn't put Elmer's glue on my skin especially near my eyes or nose hahah.

Use baking soda to clear out blackheads! it works! don't use it if you have sensitive skin as it can be a little harsh.

Try Biore strips, they're inexpensive & work great! You could get them at walmart

Baking soda is very harsh on skin and is not in keeping with natural PH levels. Before Prom playing it safe is your best bet.

The glue thing worked for me, but I only tried it once. Honestly I would just stick with a mask (like Freeman's Charcoal or Biore's). I just not like the Biore Pore Strips because I have really sensitive skin and they always irritated my skin
