Personally, I'd say no earlier than 17/ 18 really. I don't really like seeing very young girls wearing red lipstick. But that's my personal opinion.

Bout 16 or 17.

I also think that at least 17 or older is a more appropriate age to wear red lipstick day to day, any younger, I think on a special occasion (birthday, Christmas etc...) would be the limit.

If you mean daily I think atleast like 15 even though I think it's weird when people wear red lipstick everyday.. But if you mean only occasionally then you can start whenever.

Red lipstick seems like a fairly mature look, so maybe 10th grade or so.

Tbh I think if you feel like it expresses you well and you don't wear it just to make people think you're all that, then fucking go for it AT ANY AGE. Have fun!

I think 18 or so, just because it's more of a mature look IMO but if you feel comfortable wearing it then go for it :) I'm 19 and still only wear it around the house and out occasionally.

I think it depends on what colour and how often. I recently have been wearing this light rose lipstick and I love it. I'm only 14 but I don't think it looks weird or like I'm trying to look older.

For bold red, I'd say no younger than 16 but a sheer red, 14 at the youngest. In my opinion, red is a very... sexy, classy and seductive color and I Personally think it looks off on younger girls. But that's just my opinion :)

Bryanna you is right! The youngest I had seen a girl to wear RED lipstick was 12 , and she had look 10. I don't think its very good for a girl under 16 to wear lipstick. You might not notice but it makes you look older , and makes creepers come your way. This is another way how kids get hit on by older men. By looking "Sexy" so I even I try to cut down the colors of my lipstick , and I'm turning 17 and mostly like bath and body/works lipgloss.

I think it's odd for someone to wear red lips every day if they are like 15. So I think it's fine for like special occasions but not everyday unless your about 17/18. I think pink is so much more appropriate.

Yes you're not right Ciera. But girls try to hard to be "grown up". It's sad, really. I just started exploring in bold colors and I'm 17.

Whatever age you want to. I don't think that lipstick should be for 'older' people, if you're 13 and want to wear red lipstick, you damn well go for it. I started wearing red lipstick (and all lipsticks!) at 14 and it never made 'creepers' or weirdos look at me at all, and I live in a creepers and weirdos sort of town.

Lol I was confused for a minute but yep your right. Stuff thats always meant for adults, kids always try to do it too. And If your going to wear it at a young age , I would say bright pink. or lip palm thats tinted.
