Underrated: e.l.f. Mist & Set. Keeps makeup fresh and in place for hours, plus it feels amazing on a hot day to just spritz all over one's face.
Overrated: pretty much anything by Anastasia Beverley Hills. The eye shadows aren't unique or pigmented enough to justify the price, the contour palette is way too warm to be used to contour, and the brow products usually result in overkill razorblade eyebrows. Not a fan.

@Emily would you say it's better than the MAC Fix +? Lol I haven't quite got the hang of the Anastasia Dipbrow yet but seems good.

@Kelsey yeah the baby lips aren't the best, I don't feel like they make dry lips soft, Chapstick works just fine and does a better job.

I totally agree with Emily about Anastasia lol. In the least favorite brands thread yesterday I said they were my least fav! I think it's shady how they started by sending free makeup to popular people on Instagram / YouTube in exchange for positive reviews...and now Anastasia is sold in Sephora.

Overrated, in my opinion, are any Mac products out there. I guess it's just because I've just had bad experiences with the Mac products I've bought and I just think that you can get better quality stuff for way cheaper. (everyone will probably disagree haha), the only Mac products that I do sorta like are the lipsticks.

Overrated maybelline baby lips! I really don't get the hype around these? they are like any other chap stick I have used.
Underrated sleek blushes and their highlighter. Everyone needs to try them! and their eyeshadows.

Underrated: Bareminerals products. They have great skin benefits, and most products have a great finish
overrated: mac foundations- they're so cakey and in my experience don't have much staying power. Also I think the naked palette is okay but there is a little too much hype over them

Underrated: gosh waterproof eye liner. its a twist eye liner it has a smudge brush and a mini sharpener attached. about?6.00 in superdrugs. its as good as any other and half the price.

Overrated- Rimmel Stay Matte, honestly I don't see what the massive hype is about, I think its okay but not amazing
Underrated- MUA eyebrow palette, this is one of my go to products, I love it! It comes with a mirror, a pair of tweezers, a double ended brush, wax, dark and light brown and a highlight, its only?3.50 and if you can get it!(:

Underrated:Lypsyl lip balm...that stuff rivals my high-end lip balms. I've lost count on how many tubes I've purchased since discovering it earlier this year. For $3 bucks its a close dupe to my La Mer Lip balm which is $55.
Overrated: MAC foundations...I've tried every single formula from the line over the years and they all gave me cystic acne. The color matching by the artists is a hit/miss situation.

Overrated: definitely the naked thing.. I have naked 3 because I like the rosy gold type colors but natural.eyeshadow, I just don't get it. n that's cool but now every single makeup brand has a dupe for it..jeez.. 1 or 3 good cheap dupes are good enough..
MAC LE promos that sell out in an hr.
underrated: definitely essense products.
Mary Kay n Avon have really good makeup n skincare and I really hear nothing about it anymore.

Overrated I agree with mac foundations just horrible in any formula though I'm a huge mac fan I loathe there foundation.
underrated sleek makeup although it takes along time to get my order here in the states the wait is worth it in my opinion there eye devine pallets are comparable to marc jacobs eye pallets which I find horrible as well (:

I totally agree about thrift stores - I have so many lovely, interesting, unique pieces that I've thrifted and I just love them!
Underrated: pretty much any essence product and the mua highlighters. A lot of Seventeen products like the highlighter and the lipsticks are awesome!
Overrated: Benefit - I just don't get the hype. The they're real mascara does no more for me than a cheaper one would, and feels like a waste of money!

Yeah I agree on the MAC foundations. There's nothing "light" or "natural" about them lol they are for those that like a lot of coverage. I have the ProLongwear concealer and it's still full because even if I use just a bit, it still gets cakey! Their lipsticks are good and the MAC Fix+, I also want to try their eyeshadows, eyeliner and skin care line
