I have an interview tomorrow (yes, another job) and I'm going to wear a dress that I've worn to interviews before however I've always worn it with a cardigan.
It's supposed to be 87 tomorrow so I really don't want to take a cardigan with me to the interview. The dress has thick straps but doesn't go over/cover my shoulders.
Should I just bring a cardigan anyways to throw on before the interview or will I be okay without it?

I think you should be okay, as long as it covers your bra straps completely.

Thanks, Hannah! It does cover my bra straps (:

I personally would just wear the cardigan. But you should be fine. I mean if it's hot then I wouldn't blame you lol good luck on your interview.

It might depend on the job but I think if they are thick straps they'll be fine. Good luck!:)

I would bring the cardigan and throw it on right before the interview. I'm assuming the interview will be held in an air conditioned building so you should be fine.

I agree with Maressa. I would bring the cardigan and wear it in the interview. You never know how conservative your interviewer could be and you wouldn't want to lose out on a job just because of that!

Bare shoulders are generally considered unprofessional for interviews---but it really depends on the job.

What are you interviewing for? I would say no, but depends. if you're interviewing to be a bartender that's different then interviewing for an office.

I agree with Kelly it really depends on what your interviewing for.

Ok yea I think that as long as your bra strap is covered then you should be fine but talke it for the drive and then if last minute you feel you need it them grab it and go.

Wear the cardigan for the interview. Many workplaces don't allow bare shoulders. Better safe than sorry.

Employees at target do not show their shoulders, so to be on the safe side, cover em up.
