So yes the tittle says it all!!
Really need you opinion! What eyeshadow pallet to start off ,
I want to buy Naked but I'm so confused which pallet to get 1,2 or 3 (I'm light skinned person , cool undertone)
Or I should buy lorac pro pallet or sleek or chocolate par??
I need a good pallet to start putting eyeshadow...

Definitely go for the Lorac Pro palette. I had been asking about the Naked palettes and the lovely ladies here directed me to the Lorac Pro palettes instead. I am SO glad they did! I have both Pro palettes and they're my holy grail palettes, they're perfected pigmented and blend like a dream (:

Don't buy palette if you are beginning just go to the drugstore and buy warm brown shadow for the crease and soft shimmery shadows for the lid and don't forget the highlight?

I think that depends a lot on what interests you. I personally hate the Naked line, I think the shadows are really not up to par with the entire rest of the Urban Decay line, but a really good choice would be the Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye palette, since it's very user friendly and you can create a lot of looks with it. Another good option would be the Too Faced Natural Eyes. Unlike the KVD, it has both matte and shimmery shades, but it also has 3 fewer shades than the Shade and Light Eye. These are both really good if you're in the market for totally neutral palettes. If you want a bit of unusual color, the Kat Von D Monarch and Innerstellar palettes are my absolute favorite majority-neutral palettes, but they each have a few pops of color. Personally, I recommend going higher end for shadows to begin with, since I have yet to find quality shadows from the drugstore. I hated eyeshadow until I tried high end products, because the low end versions are simply not very good in most cases, and I hated the way they performed on my eyes.

I agree with Hannah on the drugstore palettes. If you want to start experimenting with eyeshadow then you should be using products that properly perform. If you learn how to do eyeshadow using a palette with shadows that aren't that pigmented and don't blend well then you're just going to end up relearning how to do eyeshadow with pigmented and blendable shadows once you get them.

The lorac pro palettes are great and easy to use. I have recently bought the Loreal nude palette which is inexpensive and would be a good starter palette I think.

I agree with Hannah. The better the quality of the shadows, the easier to learn. You'll learn how to build up pigment without looking like a clown, easier to blend, and they are overall easier. My favorite eyeshadow palette is actually my Lorac unzipped because I really like my rose-gold shades, but they also have an all gold shades palette. Since you do have fair skin and cool tones, I would suggest either an all around neutral palette like the naked basics or you could go for a cool toned palette to compliment your features like the naked 2 palette. I haven't tried out any of the Urban Decay palettes, I'm basing it all completely off the colors I see and what I know.

In case you were interested:

Warm skin- golds, bronze shades
Cool skin- silver, gray, most blues (that I've used at least)

Just a couple different color selection ideas to take in mind when shopping for the perfect beginner palette for you.

I absolutely LOVE my naked 3 palette. I have used all the shades except the black (dark side & black heart) and they look great on my fair skin. If you have blue eyes like me then this is the palette for you. All of the shades look amazing on blue eyes and I especially love the shimmery shades. Can't recommend it enough, I literally use it everyday.

I'm with Hannah on the KVD shade and light eye palette. It has great quality, all the shadows are matte though and I'm sure what finish you like. But if you're dead set on one of the palettes you listed, I have the Naked 2 and 3 and I would say the 2 would be a good beginning palette.

I love my w7 The Browns palette, it'd be great as a first palette as it has 10 pans and is so easy to work with. It's really cheap and pigmented too.

Oops I meant not sure what finish you'd like *

I actually disagree with Megan because you can never compare high quality eye shadows that blend easily & are very pigmented over drugstore shadows that you need to layer on to get the desired color

Because the last comments that showed up on my phone was yours & ana saying she agrees with you, that's why "lol"

& I'm not saying drugstore shadows are bad or anything I just think it's easier to work with higher end because you most likely won't need a primer& base & all that to get the true color of a shadow so it'll be much easier to use
And of course there are high end shadows that suck but the good thing about high end stores is that you can do swatches which you can't do at drugstores

I would go with drugstore. With all the makeup products I've used I've started out drugstore and worked into more expensive brands. I got used to makeup, and when I felt like I got the hang of it and new what I would prefer spending on versus saving on. When I first started I used loreal products. They are great! My first expensive purchase was the two Naked palettes (the 2nd had barely come out). I felt like they were a really wise investment at that time because I knew I would used them and I was comfortable using makeup. I didn't feel like I was wasting my money on something I wouldn't use and I didn't feel like I was wasting good makeup learning how to use it.

Anyway, look into loreal. I get compliments when I wore it all the time. Their eyeshadows are very good quality.

I think you can start with some drugstore products. I really like Revlon eyeshadows because they have nice pigmentation (less product needed) and are very soft. For the price you can buy a neutral pallet (brown, taupe, champagne) and another one with different colors (light pink, mauve, burgundy), so you can mix between the palettes.

It is true that sometimes is easier to achieve a good look with high end products but it all depends on the technic. Watch tutorials on YouTube and Pinterest and you'll get good results, no matter the product :)

I love the HiP studio secrets shadow duos. I haven't seen them in stores but they are available on their website. They're just as good as my higher end make ups. I wear them to work (because honestly I don't want to waste expensive makeup at work lol) and I always get compliments. Also, when they have the Project Runway lines those are insanely awesome. Those shadows actually got me into makeup. I recently bought both the Nudes palettes but I haven't tried them out yet.

I'd also look into bulk palettes from coastal scents or bh cosmetics. The 88 palettes or 252 palettes have every color imaginable, are great prices and good eyeshadow. It's not HIGH quality. But it's better than drugstore palettes imo. I personally have only had luck with essence, elf, and nyx shadows. The rest that I've tried are just hard to work with, and require lots of building up the color. Whereas with my tarte, urban decay, kvd, etc.or even my coastal scents palettes they don't need to be built up and the pigmentation is nice with one of two sweeps on the lid.

Jacqueline - my grandmother used to sell Mary Kay at the hotel she ran, they've definitely revamped the past few years. She used to have Mary Kay parties (she also sold avon and a few jewelry things similar to avon) and the skincare everyone ordered but the cosmetics shed end up giving the samples to us grandchildren because they really sucked. My grandmother isn't a huge makeup person, she wears some eyeliner on special occasions, but she always stayed away from make because the quality sucked.
She recently caught up with her friend that she used to do the selling party things with, and was going to go back into it because of how much Mary Kay turned around. She didn't because she's too busy, but she was excited to show us how pigmented everything was, she bought a bunch of things she won't ever wear, but they're nice quality. :) I don't think you can buy it in Canada other than from the reps. At least that's how it used to be. I haven't seen them in stores at all.
