Does Coconut Oil Really Help With Hair Growth? Will it matter what type of coconut oil to buy;or just any type? Has anyone tried it?

Coconut oil will not make your hair grow - but its a great way to keep it healthy and moistureized :)
You can get any brand as long as its cold pressed and organic :)
I use it a couple of times a month and it has really changed the health of my hair - and made it shiny :)

Tami, did you wash it out completely?

I always have to wash it out twice, but my shampoo isn't sudsy and is sulfate free. Shampoos that really lather up can be drying so I avoid them. Just make sure if you use a heavy mask, you get most of it out. I only apply it to the bottom half of my strands and ends and then put on a shower cap or hair wrap towel and chill with it on for a few hours. Using a heat protectant makes a world of difference as well.
