I am a Wife & Mother of 3 boys, livin' it up in Paradise on the Island of Maui in Hawaii. I am born & raised in an environment that is very laid back and I really felt like the odd ball for wanting to dress up and put on makeup. I later realized that I was meant for a life of beauty & fashion. :) My journeys have taken me through the world of beauty and now I am here to try and help other beauties learn more about makeup, fashion, beauty and all the fun stuff that make us girlie... and I hope I can learn a few things from all of you too. :)

Q: Are you just a stay at home mom?
A: No, I am the owner of HoneyXO (formerly I-Candy Couture Cosmetics and Accessories), an online Boutique that offers Mineral Cosmetics made by me and handcrafted accessories and Jewelry. My jewelry pieces have been featured on Jerseylicious and worn by cast members: Tracy DiMarco, Olivia Blois and Jackie Bianchi. I am also a Professional Wedding & Portrait Photographer and Freelance as a Makeup Artist - mainly Bridal work. My Photography and my cosmetic business are my main sources of income.

Q: When did you get started with all of the beauty reviews and tutorials, etc.?
A: I started my youtube channel in 2008 - but have been commissioned by companies to review their products from 2007. I started accepting products for review when I opened my first beauty & mommy blog (no longer open) in 2007 and by luck, I was contacted by a few companies to review their products that were not well known. I started doing tutorials after I had a girlfriend tell me I should do so and after watching a few of my fav gurus on youtube. I still struggle doing my vids - but I love bringing fun & exciting stuff to all of you :)

Q: How old are you?
A: I'm 32 years old at the moment.

Q: What is your favorite makeup brands? High end & Drug store
A: This is a difficult question to answer... I have been a big time MAC cosmetic lover for years and years - I was first introduced to MAC in 2002 after a girlfriend of mine took me to a MAC counter so she could purchase one of their holiday collections. I have never spent so much on makeup in my life and brought all the wrong colors *yikes* - but learned through trial & error what would work. Until that time, I was a huge fan of maybelline & revlon... still am till this day. I have since tried many other products and have new loves. I do not purchase MAC very often, it has been over a year - and I have found other products I like better. I really like Urban Decay, Inglot & Too Faced. I am a huge huge fan of Too Faced Shadow Insurance and have stopped buying UDPP because I found something better. (this of course if my own opinion) I haven't tried the more high end brands like Chanel, etc... but hope to one day.
I LOVE drug store makeup and will always love it. I especially am in love with Wet n Wild, NYX and ELF. I am very impressed with their quality and tend to find myself using these 2 brands often over my high end stuff. I also love Revlon, it's an old school fav. And, of course - I love my I-Candy Couture Cosmetics. :)
