Great for hair and skin care but pricey
I like to apply argan oil in two ways: 1) apply 3 drops to my hair when it's damp to minimize frizz (when it air dries), 2) mix it with a facial moisturizer and apply it to my skin in the winter. This argan oil works effectively and does not clog my pores. The only downside is that it's really expensive. The Elma&Sana Argan Oil is an affordable alternative to this product.
My go-to mascara
I use the waterproof version of this as my everyday mascara. It gives my lash length but not that much volume. So I like to pair it up with Clinique High Impact mascara, which gives my lashes a lot of volume. The CG lashexact formula dries fairly quickly and it doesn't clump. It usually doesn't smudge unless the weather is really humid and my skin is really oily that day. If you are looking for a mascara that will make a dramatic difference, this one won't do. But it's great for a natural, everyday look.
Great primer that helps eye makeup stay put
I got this primer for only $10 during Black Friday at Sephora last year. It's a really great product and works just as well as Urban Decay Primer Potion. I think the texture is slightly thinner and not as dry as that of UD primer potion. I'd strongly recommend this product to those with oily eyelids.
I got these on sale from Haute Look and I really love them! It's such a great product for a simple eye makeup look. The 3 neutral colors are perfect for an everyday look. Just apply them horizontally and blend the edges out with your fingers. I have really oily lids and with a primer, these stay on all day!
This my favorite hair product!! I have frizzy and wavy hair that's pretty hard to manage. I apply a pump of this product to the ends of my hair after I wash it at night. Then I scrunch my hair to help define the waves. The next morning, my hair looks hydrated and less frizzy. This serum is a bit pricey but it lasts for a long time and a little goes a long way!
