I would get the real thing or the real techniques one as cheap versions tend to absorb the product rather than blend x I had a cheaper one and it was awful.

I picked one up at Walmart it's called the Soho London beauty sponge, cost $5, I've had it forever and it doesn't have any rips or tears in it, so it really holds up. The only way I apply foundation these days :)

I have and love the original but the soho is a good dupe for even application. It's just more work but it's not bad. I use it more for cream contour. The Ulta one was horrible for me. It was shaped weird and just sucked up all my foundation.

MUA TIP :Use a serum or elixir on sponge prior to putting foundation on it. This prevents dry sponge from absorbing the foundation.
