Please help me out ladies! I've been using Proactiv for years and I know a lot of people have bad things to say about it, but it was the only thing that's ever kept my skin clear... Until recently :( I don't know what happened, but I've been breaking out like CRAZY and Proactiv isn't doing anything anymore. I haven't used any new makeup or skin care items so I know I'm not allergic to anything. Can anybody reccommend a good face wash for me? I don't care about the price, I just want something that works. It's so embarrassing being almost 21 and still dealing with acne.

I'm not 21 and I still get the occasional spot. It never ends, but instead gets much easier in my experience. You may want to try Cetaphil.

I'm 20 and I still get breakouts around time for my period, so no worries.
Proactiv actually did the same thing to me, it just stopped working. Now I use the Neutrogena rapid clear line and it works for well for me.

I agree with Cetaphil. The Dermacontrol one, I think that's what it's called. It is the only thing changing my skin! At my work we had some that had buy one get one free coupons on them so I got the cleanser and moisturizer on sale with coupon for less than ten bucks. Check at Walgreens to see if they have the ones with coupons on them!

I've been using Olay Total Effects acne cleanser. It has salicylic acid in it. It's really cleared up my light acne, and it's smoothed out my skins' texture and evened out my tone. I love it!

What kind of acne are you getting?? I highly recommend buying a clarisonic and using it in conjunction with a gentle cleanser. If you use those two things, with a good serum and moisturizer, than you won't have to keep putting harsh chemicals on your face.

Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Wash is really good for acne, and not harsh! That's what I use for the occasional acne flairs from hormones.

Yes!!I was in the same situation with you too!
Proactiv didn't work as good as the first beginning com I broke out very badly.
Then I discovered( acne.org ),please give it a try ,it cleared my skin within 2 months it's totally a lifesaver!! I have a before com after picture on my Instagram ,vanessa_kkk??
