Depends on the person & what you're trying to do. pencil is easier to control to me, but liquid would be more precise to make winged liner.

Gel or cream eyeliner is better, easy to use, doesn't spill, doesn't run, you don't need to wait for it to dry, it looks sleek and sexy.

I prefer felt tip the best! I find it makes the most crisp and seamless lines as opposed to pencil and gel. It looks much smoother and I think the color is always much darker.

It depends on personal preference and what you're using it for. I prefer liquid for my lid but can easily use gel if I wanted to, but I prefer gel and pencil for my waterline. For bases for eyeshadows I use pencil but gel is also possible depending on the desired look.

Liquid looks better but pencil is easier to apply so I like liquid with the felt tip applicator so its like the best of both worlds!

I like gel for the top liner usually but I do use pencil too. I never use liquid. It's too messy for me lol.
