I personally would just buy a face moisturizer with SPF added c: that's what I'm on the hunt for. also, a lot of foundations have SPF in them as well, so that's an added bonus!

I agree with kyra. I use the body shop seaweed moisturizers with SPF in it, and it's the only one that doesn't break me out. Regular sunscreen will break you out.

Regular sunscreen shouldn't break you out if you wash it off properly. I think Clinique do some pretty good ones?

If you want a waterproof sweat proof one neutrogena beach defense it good one if you want a cc cream IT Cosmetics spf 50 is a great choice or if you want a natural spf Sunology spf 50 its also waterproof.

We all know what I would say to this 😖

I'm using Coppertone oil-free faces spf 50, its very light weight and not too greasy, it claims not to break you out our got pores, and so far I'd have to agree with the claims. I usually get bad blackheads and acne from sunscreen on my face, but haven't noticed any extras popping up. It doesn't cause my makeup to apply weirdly over out, either. For spf in makeup, you will notice the directions are to reapply every 2 hours; you need gobs of it to get the full spf benefits. you're better off wearing sunscreen under your makeup, and using the extra spf as an added bonus(:

Spf in makeup wears off because its chemical sunscreen it doesn't start working until your skin absorbs it and only last for about two hrs however a physical spf will stay on your skin , its just a physical barrier unless its rubbed off or sweat off you don't have to reapply as often

I double up...PTR Moisturizing SPF 30 and Colorscience mineral based SPF's for face and eye areas. With cream based product you must apply a nickle size amount to entire face to receive the protection benefits or else you're just wasting your time and money. I have oily combo skin and neither of those have caused me grief (breakouts or clogged pores). Neutrogena also has some awesome formulas as well. Mario Badsecu has an oil-free moisturizing spf30 that I also have in rotation.

La roche posay makes an entire line of facial sunscreens, some are moisturizers, primers, only sunscreen ect.

I really like this one, it's a liquid sunscreen, so it absorbs into my skin fast, and feels lightweight. It's broad spectrum too. I never liked physical sunscreens because they tend to feel heavy, greasy, and leave a white cast on my face, but there are better sunscreens out there with micronized particles so it won't leave that cast, I think aveene (spelling?) makes one.

Ahhhhh ^^^ agree with Lexi! It doesn't have a nasty smell nor does it leave my fave white. Hasn't caused breakouts either! I wear this under my foundation in the summer. I use it on my body as well.

Brittany, I totally and fully apologize for my rude demeanor about sunscreen a while back! I would actually like Meagan , you to tell me why exactly and give me the full details! I've done research and such but I'd Kiel to know your viewpoint on it!

Physical spf is Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide it acts like a physical barrier blocking the suns rays chemical sunscreen is octinoxate it's a chemical that penetrates the skin then blocks UV rays I do prefer physical spf

Not to try to derail the thread, but what order do you apply sunscreen and makeup? I'll use makeup products and skincare with spf on a normal day, but when I run around in the sun all day in the summer but I still want to wear makeup, when would a more heavy duty sunscreen come into play within the skincare/makeup routine? I always get confused about this, so I usually just ditch all makeup and make sunscreen a priority, since I don't want to ruin the effects of the sunscreen or anything.

Thats why I like physical spf better Natalie they last on your skin longer I just put it on an let it absorb for about 15 min then put makeup if your using mineral makeup that's a natural spf you can touch up with that or if your makeup has a chemical spf you can touch up with that during the day or I just bring face wipes and reapply before I get off work if it still light out
