I've been using Benefit's Porefessional, and UD's Primer Potion.. But only because those are things that I've been using forever so I'm not sure if anything is better. :)

I like the elf eye primer. does amazing job for a dollar. have yet to find a face primer I'm willing to rebuy so I'm no help there lol.

I hated the UDPP. It didn't last an hour before my eye shadows were creased all to hell. Total waste of money!
I use the e.l.f. Eyelid Primer, available at Target, Walmart, etc. for $1. It keeps my shadows bright and vibrant, and prevents creasing when I use a base (NYX Jumbo Pencil).
Note: I have normal, borderline dry eyelids. If you tend to have oily eyelids, your results may differ.
I don't use a face primer (rarely wear face makeup at this point). I've yet to find a formula or combination of products that suit my extremely dry, extremely pale neutral toned skin.

Primers break me out so I just use bb cream and powder. I use UDPP on my lids and it works great :)

I don't usually wear eyeshadow but when I do I use the too faced eyeshadow primer and it actually works really well. I have no creasing and it really helps my eyeliner stay on (which was the biggest reason why I bought a primer)
and for a face primer I agree with zoey. I love the elf primer it's very smooth and lightweight
