Anyone knows any homemade remedies to get lighten up scars?

^No. Mouthwash?! That's literally ALL alcohol. It will ruin the skin. That is NOT meant for the skin!

My mom is a nurse in a very good office and she even said no to that. That's horrible. I don't know a single doctor who would say that. That's dangerous good luck ruining your skin. LOL.

I actually think you're being really rude Leona.
I'd try BioOil, I use that to lighten scars.

Leona is being logical. Putting mouthwash on unbroken skin will not make it heal. If you think about it when you get a cut you put hydrogen peroxide on it or alcohol. A scar is just the skin healing all funky. If you put alcohol on it it won't do nothing. From my nursing school background what tori says confused me. Alcohol based mouthwash will dry out your skin. Lemon juice will screw the ph of your skin. But because I love science I will put a tiny bit of mouthwash on a small patch of my body and see if I notice a different. Leona isn't being rude she's doing what I'm doing and pointing out home remedies that can potentially be dangerous.

Questions for tori what consitutes unbroken skin? I think of unbroken skin as just normal healthy skin.

No problem Leona I find myself trying to make sure people are gaining the right medical advice.
