So I used to have very healthy hair but since I had my baby my hair falls out ALOT not in chunks or anything just a lot though out the day, I was wondering if there's anything you ladies use to help/stop this. & also products to help dry damaged hair, I'm already going to get it trimmed & I don't die it.

Ask your doctor about it. you're probably deficient in something, I had to take iron pills after having my son. as for the dry hair, deep condition, use a hair mask, & try using coconut oil. :)

That's expected actually
Hormonal changes can cause that
During pregnancy, a lot of your hair doesn't reach telegenic phase and its why some people say their hair looked great during pregnancy
But the cycle continues once that's done so it looks like you're losing a lot

Are you by any chance still taking your prenatal pills? that could be beneficial.

But yeah, as ari said it's actually very common. I personally didn't go through that though. although I always lose a lot of hair in general lol.

Telogen Effluvium. It's a part of alopecia. Androgenic alopecia happens during pregnancy, so it's completely normal for you to have lost hair during that time. After giving birth, your hair goes through a phase called Telogen Effluvium, which can last up to three months usually. How long ago did you have your baby?

Oh! And to answer your second question, I suggest trying Joico's K-Pak Intense Hydrator. It has worked wonders for my hair! Looks like this:

Ari that's what my doctor told me, that it was normal but it doesn't happen to everyone. As for Kat I was taking iron pulls too:p but I'm not taking my prenatals anymore (although I have so many) I will start too though:-)
I have him 10 months ago but in breastfeeding do you think that May be why?

I learned about this at my cosmetic training/meeting today...its totally normal after pregnancy. It is your hormones adjusting and it will take time to go back to normal. No vitamins are going to effect it; it just needs to run its course essentially. Some women even say their hair grows back better than ever. :)
