I've gotten many jobs and wore jeans to put in applications and ended up getting hired on the spot. I just got hired Saturday and wore jeans to fill out the app and got an open interview that day. They hired me as a manager position at a nice restaurant making way more then minimum wage it's all about how you present yourself! Walk in confident and look we'll put together you'll get the job. What do you mean by going job hunting? Are you just walking into restaurants and stores asking for a minimum wage job? If that's the case don't over dress and look like you're ready for a day at the office. Dress conservatively and you'll be fine.
