So I'm wanting to pick up some new makeup...have any of you tied

The color stay has been a popular favorite for a lot of people for a while. I've heard great things. Good coverage, buildable, good color match and great for oily skin.

I really like the Revlon ColorStay liquid foundation. I find that it gives great coverage and wears really well throughout the day. They have a formula for normal skin and one for oily skin. One complaint is it has a strong smell, almost smells like paint or something to me. Also I am very fair skinned and the lightest shade is still too dark for me, so they could improve their shade selection but otherwise it's a great drugstore foundation!

I tried the foundation on a friend ( The one for oily skin.) It smelled like paint and it looked weird, I'm not a fan of the finish.

I completely agree with Kitty, I had a very similar experience with the foundation; I honestly didn't like one thing about it.
