It's a process but I would suggest for now just using purple shampoo and conditioner and waiting at least a month before bleaching it again because depending on your hair it can break off..

Head and shoulders shampoo also helps strip the hair!

Don't use head and shoulders on bleached hair, it will dry it out and lead to a frazzled damaged breaking mess. A purple shampoo won't do anything at that stage. Use a conditioning treatment and wait a few days at least. Then, if your hair isn't damaged, hit it again with the bleach and monitor it closely. Once you get to a light yellow color you can tone it and really get rid of the brassiness.

When the hair is that dark of orange, she can't achieve platinum without bleaching again. Toning at this point will make it a dark beige shade, nothing near what she wants.

I'm not saying to bleach it three or more times immediately. When going from almost black to platinum, the hair has to be bleached at least twice. Spacing it to avoid damage is important. At least a week, but longer is better.
Again, toning at this stage won't do anything but damage, since a toner uses developer.
