My red hair has faded to a very non flattering shade and my roots are showing now. I need to fix it and I was leaning towards a more neutral color, but I don't know what would look good. Any suggestions?

I think a chocolate brown would look amazing with your eyes and skin tone; plus it's very neutral. Good luck! X.

Would it be difficult to get a dark brown from a coppery shade?

Unfortunately it's realy realy hard to get that copper faded red out of your hair trust me I know I used to have red hair and it faded and left that color I tried to dye it brown as well you could still see some that copper color in my hair a bit it took me a realy long time to get out of my hair

Honestly I would be fine with a bit of red left, I just don't like having it just what it faded to. But thank you so much Clarissa!

Well as Clarissa said red is so difficult to fade the easiest colour to go to from red is black I just recently did it and it turned out lovely not even a hint of copper or red left :D

As you don't mind some red remaining, think a med brown would fade nicely.
