My friend uses lemon juice to lighten her black hair. I also have dark hair and was wondering if any of you guys have had results and if I should or shouldn't try this (is lemon too drying/damaging?). Thanks!!

Lemon juice is far too acidic to be used for prolonged periods of time on your hair and you're "supposed" to sit in the sun while you do it. The results aren't that noticeable if you get any results at all and if you don't, your hair will feel dry for nothing. You're better off bleaching it if you actually want it to work.
