Lol I'm a professional hair dresser and I studied everything about the hair body nails and skin. It's it impossible for your hair to grow noticeably in one day I promise.

Yeah it's a half an inch a month roughly. Your hair and nails are constantly growing but so slow that you can't notice.

@Nikki I must respectfully disagree with you. when I bleached my hair, early morning the next day, I could see about a millimeter of growth, my dark brown hair already showing, not by a lot, but noticeable to me. I was mad cause I thought I looked stupid, re bleached my hair cause it was uneven anyways, sure enough a day later I have the brown coming back thru, looked like pepper on my head lol.

@renay yup some people's hair grows quick, I'll shave my legs and the next day have stubbles, so if my leg hair is growing at that fast of a paced why wouldn't my hair on my head? lol.

I think everyone just has their own rate of growth. Whenever I touch up my roots, I won't see any regrowth for around 2-4 weeks and then all of a sudden I see about a half an inch of growth when I get my period! I know it's weird, but people's hair grows in strange ways.

My hair grows stupid fast, it suuuuuucks. I'm talking.5" in a week fast. My legs get visible stubble the same day I shave them (usually around the six hour mark). I'm just a hairy beast, lol.
I don't notice the hair on my head growing on a daily basis, but I do get the feeling "I JUST bleached this, WHY is there an inch of brown already??"

Wow Emily! I thought my hair grew fast... My hair grows about 50 cm every 2 years... Which is twice as much as the average. But I honestly don't know how much half an inch is, but I think about 3 cm. But I don't know haha! It sounds like a lot though... :P.

Isabel: Half an inch is about 1.3 cm, not nearly as drastic as 3 cm! Your hair grows about 3/4 of an inch every month, if it grows 50 cm in two years. That's pretty quick too! :)
