anytime i wear eyeliner on the bottom waterline it always runs or smudges. i have tried to set it with powder, apply primer before i apply it and i have tried differetn brands does anyone have any advice or maybe a different brand that i havent used yet plz help!!!!

Hey Tiffany. I got rid of the problem by using a black pencil liner on the bottom and setting it with a black eyeshadow. Usually that works for me. I'm unsure if that is what you mean by setting it with powder. Here is an idea. Have you tried making a super thin line with creme eyeshadow? Be careful though.

@whitney normally thats wht i do i set it with black eyeshadow adn it still smudges but i will try doing it with dream liner and setting that with a eyeshadow thanks for ur advice

Try MUFE's Aqua Eyes gel liner. That stuff DOESN'T budge. Pricey, but the desired effect is worth it if you have chronic runny-eyes. =)

I need a waterproof base/liner or pencil.. and sometimes still it may smudge, especially when it's hot and humid.
Try blotting the eye area between each product (eye cream/moisturizer, foundation, powder) to pull up any excess oil so that product can properly cling to the skin. I find that makes a world of difference.

I agree with Soma, you should try MUFE's Aqua Eyes or even Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils, those work great too in the waterline. You should try those and set them with good black eye shadow and see how that works out for you.

Ive used the urban decay 24/7 pencil and dipped it into my clinique cream liner and put it on my waterline. Then I put shadow right under the lashline and it seemed to work for me. I cant put shadow on my actual waterline because it gets on my contacts and dries my eyes out.
