Hello everyone,

I have a very oily T-zone. Especialy my forehead looks very shiny. I've finaly found the skincare regeme that keeps my skin clear and healthy but my T-zone is still very oily.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good foundation, foundation primer, face powder etc to keep the shine at bay? Good suggestions for moisterizers that give good moisture are welcome. I'm 23 now so I need a moisterizer that's not to heavy but keeps my not so oily part hydrated.
Please only brands that are available in Europe. I'm from Belgium so I have to make due with what I can find.
Thank you so much my fellow beautynista's ;-)

Hi Natascha...sounds like we have similar skin issues, except my oiliest parts are the apples of my cheeks and my nose. Philosophy ships many of their products internationally, you could check their site at philosophy.com. I use their Hope in a Jar moisturizer, it's light enough that it moisturizes without feeling greasy on my skin (they also sell a primer called Never Let Them See You Shine...I've not used it though). I only apply this at night. As far as a primer...I actually use Philosphy's The Present Clear Makeup as my primer, let it dry for a full 2 minutes then I use a flat synthetic foundation brush to apply a very thin layer of Milk of Magnesia (just plain Milk of Magnesia I get from my local drug store) on my t-zone and a little extra on the apples of my cheeks. Regarding foundation...I suppose it's a matter of preference and of what works best on your skin. I prefer loose mineral foundation. I find that I need to touch up with finishing powder considerably less throughout the day if I'm diligent with The Present and Milk of Magnesia. I'm looking forward to see what the other beauties here suggest, I may find a new product or two to try myself.

I have oily and acne-prone skin, and the things that has worked miracles for me is the Ole Henriksen Oily and Blemish Prone Skin cleansing series. I absolutely love this stuff! Both the Ole Henriksen and the Dior is AMAZING! :)

My favorite moisturizer is Clinique's Dramatically Different GEL. It's very moisturizing and hydrating but is meant for oily/combination skin. I have an oily t-zone as well and this moisturizer has worked wonders on my skin! hope this helped <3

I would like to thank everyone who made suggestions so far for their advice. I'll look into the Diorskin soon. I think that's what my skin most need ( a good mattifying prymer that is). I've been using a sample of the estée lauder daywear plus vor combination skin but it's just not working. I've knowticed the skin on my nose has started to flake and that's one of my oilier parts! Shame I've heard you should start with a (kinda) anti-aging regime when you approach 25. Oh well I'll certainly take everyonce advice into account :-)
