The Marilyn brush from Ulta does it so easily for me! And I feel it damages my hair less than back combing with those cheap black fine tooth combs!

My two favorite for teasing hair would be my Denman brush ( Sally's Beauty Supply ) & my Conair teasing comb ( Target ). Gives a good amount of volume and doesn't feel like your ripping your hair apart when teasing. Both are great at brushing and smoothing the style out. Doesn't give me that cow lick look (seen that way too much on girls).
