I have wavy yet thin hair and the top half is pretty damaged due to sun exposure. Used serums but there is no difference and I am not the type that can afford monthly saloon's hair treatment.
A friend of mine cut her damaged hair short and now she has healthy hair, and I've been thinking to do the same thing but problem is her hair is straight, mine is wavy, she has pointy nose while I have sorta round nose.
Was thinking of Stephanie Szostak's short razor cut in Dinner with The Schmucks, or Carey Mulligan's pixie or Michelle William's. But I am so nervous to know if they would work on me.

I've looked at your pictures and I think the farthest you should go with your hair would be a cute bob cut like that of Twiggy. If not that, then shoulder length hair. If you miss the longer length of your hair from time to time, invest in some human hair extensions that are the same color as your hair so that if you ever do want to style hair, you can just curl, crimp, or wave your extensions without damaging your own hair. Another thing that would help you is laying off of the straightener for a while. When you do, you will see how much your naturally wavy hair has grown.

Definently go boy short like pixie, or michelle williams or winona ryder!!! It'd look great and it will be freeing!! Do it do it! Wavy hair looks cuter in my opinion, short because you have short little waves. It's cute! Looks more feminine even though it's a short haircut. I say do it!

I've got a square-ish face and a round nose, and I got so many compliments when I cut my hair short! yeah having a round nose is my main concern but I guess I just have to muster up my confidence and chop my dead hair off :D
