What colour can I put over this to fix this bad bleach job?

So I went to a stylist for an ombre that is just atrocious. Ended up having to cancel ordering my extensions (tape ins) though them because I just wasn't happy or confident in the salon anymore. To save my hair the damage I've decided I need to go back brown and get brown tape ins. I don't want to go back to the salon cause really I've spent enough on my hair these last few days. So what colour do you recommend I put over this? I'd love if there could be subtle light brown ombre. Please suggest colour & brand box dyes! Or maybe an inspo photo!

The left is what I was, and the right is what was done to me by the stylist lol. The colour on the left is basically my natural colour.

And incase you haven't seen my previous posts (I inquired a lot in the last few days about what happened!) the left is what I asked for and the right is what was done. Clearly no comparison and not even close to being okay.

For box dyes I really like Garnier Nutrisse. personally I would try and get a colour similar to the brown you already have in your hair. I don't know an exact colour but if you go to a beauty counter the consultant will be able to match the colour for you. even if the colour starts fading out I think you would be left with a nice subtle ombre

You should know that going to a metallic, or grey tone takes time. I personally love the outcome of your hair right now (:. This is a process and maybe once you bleach it again you may get that desired color.
I'm on my may to metallic hair and I'm still not done with my bleaching after 2 appointments and 5 hours of me sitting on a chair to get closer to my metallic dream hair. aha
It suits you really well vut be patient. Its best to begin slow and steady bc if the salon would have said eff it, she wants that color so be the damage it will cause, it would have cost you much more money to repair it. With that said, I don't think you should dye it. It looks really pretty  (:

I think it's utterly horrible and unflattering lol. The tones don't match my skin at all and the ombre itself is horrible, harsh and way too high. I could deal with it if maybe it was just the ends but it's 95% of my hair and I just don't feel myself :( its yellow and orange lol and she never told me it would take a few sessions she was just like yeah this is what it is isn't it great lol.

I think the salon should have known and informed you that color would be a process that takes time..and more money. I hope you told the Manager and stylist that you were not satisfied. I know how it is when a color or cut just doesn't make you feel like yourself, but I'd tone it and see how you feel then since you have already lifted. You may really dig it after toning.

The stylist knows I'm not happy because I called and cancelled the extensions I was going to order from her as well. And the manger was there when I was getting my hair done and knew what I wanted and didn't say anything about how t turned out. The whole day felt very rushed by them like they wanted to close early so they just wanted me to essentially leave no matter what it looked like.

I will not go back there because of this experience and I have now booked an apmt with a new salon and a girl who is very well known for her work :)

I'm so sorry. I Yelp everything these days for pics of work and reviews, but even then, disappointments happen. I'd ask for new stylist about toning. Best of luck to you.

I actually really like it my hair is ombre and it looks yellow and orange at the moment if you just put purple shampoo over it, it will look AMAZING.

The picture you posted is just toner and purple shampoo you can't get your hair white ash just yet in one sitting

Purple shampoo did nothing. I've done it a few times now. It's just made the tiny pieces of actual blonde a bit brighter.

It needs to be re dyed back to brown that's the only option.

I would tone it then with wells t18.

I got into a new stylist. She fixed this horrid mistake! Seriously so happy. It's a very subtle ombre with lots of dimension and I'll be adding extensions next week!

Danielle - that's a great lift if your hair was black!! And I really think it's nice but I totally understand if it's not what you were aiming for. Just be happy your hair wasn't over processed and now fried like mine! What were you going for?

Jenna..looks fantastic! So happy you got what you wanted in the end.
Danielle, I'm inclined to agree with Jenna in that your hair looks as if we're spared brutal damage..which is a relief...and I also think it looks good, but understand how personal hair choices are. After seeing Jenna's transformation, I'd be inspired and hopeful that you will also end up with what you truly wanted very soon. :)

Yes I wish I would've spared my hair the damage! It feels horrible now I'm scared to put any heat on it! I've been ponytailing it all week to give it a rest!
