So I was looking through skincare on Amazon when I came across this product. I really don't want to give myself a chemical peel, and I don't think my skin is bad enough to need one. But I do have very large pores that just appear...dirty? My skin looks clean, except for those needle points on my nose. And, when I do break out, they're very painful, cystic style blemishes...Could I use this as a spot treatment nightly/every few nights on large, painful blemishes? And should it be diluted? And, can it do anything for my pores at all? Just to clarify, I would only be looking to use something on my pores once a week.

With a name like Dr Gross, I don't have to google the product to know I want it. Kidding, I'll definitely look that up.

And I'm a skin noob, most brands are new to
me except Biore, so I'm at the mercy of other people's reviews! *jaws theme plays*

I disagree, some of my favorite skincare products are from pretty obscure indie brands! But with unknown brands, just make sure you check the ingredients and read reviews if there are any. Amazon is great for that!

If you are doing a diy chemical peel start with the lowest % and don't leave it for a long time.
also get a neutralizer

When I was going to school for esthetics, we used revitae and Dermologica. The first is all natural. but the smell was terrible. forgive me for saying this...it smelled like period blood.

I had a face cream from a derm once that reeked of rotten eggs...like, really badly.

I agree with Pattyshadows. That stuff isn't something you just want to slap on your face and go about your day because you can cause serious damage to your skin. And 30% is pretty high if its your first time ever using a peel.
