I wanna know which all ingredients are harmful/clog pores and should be avoided and which ones are the best..
P.S: I have combination skin.
Currently I am using Nivea cocoa butter body lotion for both face and body??

Honestly I would just go for something from lush! everything these is fresh and won't clog up your pores! if you have one in your area, you can talk to anyone that works there about your skin and I'm sure they would be happy to help and point you in the right direction of what lotions would work with your skin type!

I'm not really great about which ingredients harm the skin or any of that, but I can share with you my favorite lotions currently...

I use cetaphil, which is a gentle moisturizer that keeps my skin feeling nice and soft without feeling too thick as some moisturizers and lotions do..

I so love all of my mary kay moisturizers. they are actually good for your skin I'm pretty sure and feel basically weightless. I love them!

That's such a tough one because what may be an irritant for one person might be perfectly fine for another. I can only speak from personal experience but I've been on a big Josie Maran kick lately and have been loving her body butters. For daytime for the face I've using her Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF47. I have oily/combo skin. Some people are highly sensitive to 'cones in their facial products...that is the one ingredient that comes to mind when concerned about possibly acne outbreaks or irritation.

Literally aloe vera is a life saver! I used to have terrible, dry, flaky skin and no matter what moisturizer I tried, it always gave me a chemical burn on my face! But then I ran out of moisturizer and I wasn't going to go to the store so I used aloe vera and it repaired my skin! now I have smooth skin that's never dry... and it makes for a great primer too!! :) I highly recommend trying it.

Cetaphil, Eucerin and Cerave are always recommended by dermatologists so I'd check one of those out.

I think the cetaphil moisturizing cream works good for combo skin and it comes in a decent sized jar. I even use it on my body.
It's not good for very dry skin though which is why I'm wanting to try cerave due to being in a retinoid gel

Not sure about what ingredients to avoid specifically, but for your face try stay away from lotions with heavy fragrances. I usually just use Olay on my face and Aveeno or Jergens on my body.

I agree with Shelley! The skin on our face is so much different than the skin on our body. So, I wouldn't recommend using the same lotion on your face as you do on your body. I use Jergens to moisturize my body. But like Shelley, I'm in love with JM's Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47. At night after cleaning and toning my skin, I use KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial.
