Small haul but I needed it!

I'm currently sitting some major exams and due to that, I've been holed up in my room revising for weeks. The only times I've seen the light of day is walking to and from school, going to work or going for a run! I decided to bite the bullet today and go to the shops with my mum. I didn't make many purchases as I wanted to save my bank account a little, but I desperately needed these.

My haul

- Real Techniques Expert Face brush
- Real Techniques Blush brush
Garnier Fresh Radiance Boosting Scrub for dull and tired skin

I was so desperate to try these that I took my makeup off (that I'd applied about 3 hours ago!) just to test my new bits out!

Garnier 'Fresh Radiance Boosting Scrub for tired skin' -I tried tgis the minute I got it home, and from what I've found, I really like it! It has a really pretty smell and did make my skin look less tired, which is a miracle during the exam period with very little sleep. When it first came out the tube, it was very sticky and gloopy, almost like honey or syrup. Then when rubbed into the face, it become white and not sticky or gloopy. It has tiny exfoliating balls which gently exfoliate your face. I used this after my facial cleanser and it did not leave my skin feeling tight, which always happens after water has the slightest contact to my face. This product is really good on my sensitive skin. I love Garnier products and cannot fault this one!

Real Techniques Expert Face brush - I love this brush! I used it to apply my tinted moisturiser which I normally apply with my fingers. I used this brush in a circular buffing motion and it was so easy to use! The brush gave me extra coverage as well and the bristles are so soft and don't scratch my face, as I've found with my other brushes. I've had no problem with shedding as of yet either. The size and shape of the handle make it really easy to use.

Real Techniques Blusher brush - I love the shape of this brush, it's so dense and thick! It took me a while to work out how to use it, but once I'd got that down, it was fine! I used it to apply pressed powder blush, using the tip of the brush to apply and the sides to blend. It blends really well and I can see myself using this to apply highlighter as well due to the pointed domed tip. Again, it's easy to use, the bristles are soft and I've had no problem with shedding so far. Both brushes have long handles, which makes it easier to use for me as I hate using short-handled brushes.

I was the exact same Hannah! Was so desperate to go shopping but a small shop ended up being a £130 makeup haul!! I have both those brushes and love them :) my only thing with the expert face brush is I find that it needs washed at least once a month as it does pick up a lot of product.

Shanice - I'm definitely buying more! I love the scrub, I brought it to replace my Neutrogena one as it ran out and I love it

Hollie - I'm going to be buying a ton more RT brushes, when I get paid and as a treat for myself when exams finish! I really would love to do a massive haul, I might do one at Christmas when the sales are on :) I found that too, it's a little stained from when I used it earlier but I suppose I was to expect that from the nature of the brush. I love the shape of the Blush brush, I can't get over how domed it is haha :)

I own quite a few RT brushes - 6 to be exact! I am definitely a shopaholic and so when I haven't been out or shopping for months I just had to get something! I shall definitely be buying more after exams!
