Definitely choose comfort over anything else. If you're not comfortable, the flight will be terrible.

I never wear mascara on long flights. In the beginning it looks good but after 8 hours it will smudge anyway because you'll want to close your eyes for a little bit. I apply it just when I arrive. I pretty much have nothing on my face, just a tinted lip balm! :) Instead of looking 'good' those 8 hours I prefer to moisturize and do the actual make-up at arrival. Have a fun trip!

I wouldn't do any face makeup
I would just bring those sheet face and/or eye masks while on your on the flight
I know quite a lot of people break out on planes

I agree with saskia and Lili. You will end up asleep lol so keep it simple. I just came back from LA which was like 6 hours and I only did brows and mascar and it was all smudged when I landed. If your products are small and travel sized, I'd bring them and maybe put them on towards the end of the flight.

Les quick question how did those people break out by being on a plane? that sounds strange to me, unless they are touching everything on a plane and then touching there face I don't see how else that would happen.

Do a light foundation concealer light powder and blush to make you look awake and if you want add one coat of mascara.

Honestly, I recommend bringing a sheet mask with you. I wouldn't wear makeup at all.
