It kind of looks like it's ready to pop? Try to put a hot washcloth on it if it does look ready. If the white head is poppable, I'd go for it!! With clean hands or a blemish extractor.

Ice works! You could also crush up an Advil or aspirin and put some water, and put that paste on it. Gel from an Advil pill works too.

I would agree with not popping it. One of my friend pops hers and she does not have too many scars, but when I would pop one of mine, it scarred immediately. All of the dermatologists that I have gone to say not to pop zits or touch it at all with your fingers.

What do you guys do instead? Let it be a white head??

Yes, mine pops within a couple of days. It typically ends up popping by itself while I am in the shower or steam. It goes away as soon as it pops then!

That's will power!! I use a clean blemish extractor most of the time and have never had scarring! So I guess it depends on the skin!

I wash my face and rub the spot gently with a cotton washcloth or cotton ball and bam! Just like Emeril...bye bye puss without harming the tender skin. Then, I'd apply a hot cottonball...then ice. Follow up with witch hazel and let it air dry until you put your face on.

You can mix some sea salt in water and apply it to your face. It'll dry out the zit really quick.
