This past week I've asked a few questions about sunburns. I've been moisturizing, putting on sunscreen ect. I didn't think I would peel... Well I am. It's very pink underneath, is there anything I can do to prevent further peeling and heal faster?

When it peels it's healing so you sorta have to deal with it. you can try exfoliating gently and putting a gentle lotion on.

Hmm, alright. Thank you.

Be careful when exfoliating, as you can end up prematurely ripping off some skin and it will slow the healing process. Keep it really moisturized especially after showers when your pores are most vulnerable and keep it soothed with an oatmeal or aloe lotion.

The same thing happened to me. I got burned badly and am starting to peel. I even moisturized with aloe vera a few times a day. I guess if you get burned pretty bad, you're going to peel. No preventing it :(
Just keep moisturizing try to stay out of the sun while it's healing :)

Aloe vera gel! works perfectly. seriously, its soft and heals. try icing your burn as well!

I agree with the others, Aloe Vera gel is great and it always helps me not peel. I'm super fair and burn easily so I'm kind of an expert on sun burns lol. You can put the Aloe in the fridge and it will make it feel cold on the burn which is nice if it's itchy or irritated. I'd also suggest wearing loose clothes around the burn so that it doesn't rub off the skin. I hope you heal up soon!
