I have a quick question is high waisted jeans supposed to hide the stomach or what exactly are their purposed I was under the impression they were supposed to hide but I look better and regular waisted jeans and then jeans with a high waist :)

I look better in regular waisted jeans too, but it doesn't stop me from wearing the high waisted ones lol. I think they're meant to downplay your butt (for me it does at least, at lot) and to cover the belly. :$

I actually find the opposite. they are suppose to accuent the butt and hips, drawing attention to the curve of hips and butt and give an illusion of a smaller waist.

I think it depends on yiur body type. I find it accentuates curves but it doesn't look as good on people with a little sstomach such as me... It just makes me look a bit bigger... I sti wear them but mid or low waist jeans are more flattering.

Most of my weight is in my stomach so I have a big round stomach and I can't even think about anything high waisted lol it just makes me look BAD it makes my stomach even more noticeable

I've found that high waisted jeans flatten my pooch. Unfortunately, I have an extremely long torso for my height, so it's near impossible to find high waisted jeans that fit me because the waistband hits a few inches below the thinnest part of my waist rather than at the thinnest part of my waist like they're supposed to. But I love that high waisted jeans make my butt look rounder haha b.

Yeah, I find it accentuates my hips and butt. I don't really have a tummy so I can say anything about that, but my little sister does and I notice it does make the tummy more noticeable but makes her hips appear wider than they actually are. I also am skinny with long legs, and it makes them look EVEN LONGER! Which I hate haha.
