So I wanted to get a new makeup palette and I was wondering what you guys liked. I was thinking Venus from lime crime or naked/naked 2?

What are you wanting from the palette? Do you want it to be a neutral palette? A colorful palette? A mix? Do you prefere shimmery or matte? Which palettes do you already own :)

Oh no it's fine :). I'm more looking for an everyday kind of palette. So maybe a mix of colors and neutrals. I more matte colors but some shimmer is fine. I own a bunch of really little like Clinique palettes and some Mac mattes

The Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette (original ) is probably my all time favorite. It has a nice mix of finishes and you can easily get a lot of looks out of it, plus there's a bit of color too. And it smells like chocolate, where can you go wrong?

Yes Sandra definitely have a point, a makeup geek palette is amazing because you can customize it exactly after your preferences!
And like Val I also absolutely love my chocolate bar palette! It's a great everyday palette with both neutrals and some colors and a mix of shimmery and matte shadows!

My newest palette is the Naturally Pretty palette from IT cosmetics, it's all matte colors but it has a transformation pearl color that you put over the matte shades and it makes the shadows shimmery! I think that's pretty cool :)

I'm an on location bridal makeup artist and I use Naked 2 the most on brides and bridal parties. My boss uses the original Naked pallet the most. Either way as a recovering Lanc?me junkie, I am impressed with the pigmentation, ease of application through a variety of techniques, and the variety of textures in one pallet. Hope that helps!

I love all of my naked palettes but they don't have very many matte colors and is very shimmery (which I love). I think since you would like mattes more then I would go with a Too Faced Chocolate Bar, It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty (my mom loves this one because its matte) or Lorac Pro (the first or second depending on the colors you like).
