So I wasn't sure what to put this in, but I need some opinions for clothing. I have self harm scars on my arms and legs and they are pretty bad. Since its summer, I have to wear shorts and short sleeves and stuff. I've seen some people who would wear bandanas around their thigh but I don't want it to send a sexual message, so I was wondering what I could do. The scars on my arms are on my upper arms and my wrists and well everywhere, and my legs are just in my thighs. Any suggestions? Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

You could try longer shorts , maybe capris? And for shirts you could wear a tank top with a see thru super breezy long sleeve top that way it won't be noticeable and won't be hot either

I would wear capris and try to find a lightweight sweater. I am very sorry you are going though this and I hope this helps❤️

You should try Bermuda shorts I think that's what they are called. They go down to your knee and those would be perfect and try tops like the one Darlene showed.

I would wear Bermuda shorts. If the temperature is anything like it is where I live, you definitely don't want to be wearing capris!! I like the shirt idea Darlene posted (: You could wear anything similar like that. I have cropped long sleeve tops from Aeropostale! You can find them anywhere honestly (:

I have the same problem myself, mine are on the tops of my thighs, hips and wrists. I wear highwaisted shorts that I de-cuff (roll the cuffs down) so they are longer and cover my scars. I wear long-sleeved crop tops or normal crop tops with a plaid shirt over the top.
Bikini-wise, I wear a highwaisted bikini with gymnast shorts to hide the scars.
I buy all my stuff from H&M :)

Yea I agree with Helen maxi skirts are very stylish and not too hot because they're so flowy.
