Try peplum shirts... they take away from hips but and thighs... and have the illusion to make pear shaped bodies look different... you can also find more rocker styled peplum girly peplums or anything like that... and I know sometimes we as women feel something is making a body part more noticeable but a lot of times we think its more noticeable and its not as noticeable as we think. and if you look up pear shaped outfits... look at the outfit and imagine changing the color or maybe adding an accessories to help make it more rocker... I know finding the right clothing is hard but you'll do it

Especially the flowy ones keep in mind they don't have to be this girly you can get them in different colors and patterns I find they look amazing with rocker tees.

Also try adding belts higher up on your boho dresses they make the body appear more symmetrical on pear shaped women... and fringe is great on pear shaped women because it draws attention to the fringe.

Your waist is a good place to start you'll find that some outfits you may want to wear it a little above your waist but the waist is usually a great starting point.

I agree with Reny it may be helpful to see your body shape, it's hard to picture based on your description since not everyone's pear shaped body is the same

Shannie, I feel what your dealing with. Have you considered a tailor? I'm not sure of your size, but if you are " plus sized" (hate that term) Rivithead, PinupGirlClothing, HotTopic, VampireFreaks, Torrid, Target, The Avenue, S7VenDeadlyClothing, RebelCircus, Alloy and GoodGoth are worth looking into.

Shannie that top is sooo cute!! Where did you get it?

And honestly it looks like your body is perfectly proportional! I think you look beautiful!

Your body actually looks really good and nicely proportioned to me too. I think most of the times we kind of exaggerate or ecen create our "trouble zones" in our heads. I think I am kind of struggling with the problems you mentioned above too but you know what? Your body rocks and a lot of people actually would wish to swao with you. Just go on Instagram and check out accounts like Beyonce, Kim Kardashian or especially Alicia Keys. They wear the hell they want and it looks awesome! Even though they don't have super slim bottoms. Just wear whatever yoi like. You want to wear distressed grey pants? Go get them and act confident in them. Everything is better than regretting it later. I mean we can't change our legs over night can we? We might just meka the best out of it right now and enjoy life <3.

I'm with Jana. You look amazing!! The sites listed carry sizes 1 and up...or small, medium, large and XL so there is something for every body type...lots of style ideas and pieces. I adore your outfit! Where did you get your bottoms at?

I don't even get how a stand on Hjallerup can expect you to pay full price! That's not what a market is about haha!
