I have some real human nano loop extensions but they never look sleek and shiny! Is there any tip on how to make them look healthy and shiny instead of dull and lifeless?!xx

What grade of hair do you have, what are you currently using on them, how do you style them and how old are they?

I'm not sure what grade - I let my sister put them in for her training but I know they were expensive and supposedly good quality! I'll ask her. At the moment I'm just using a dove shampoo and conditioner and heat defence spray. Where my hair up in a high ponytail most of the week and maybe down and curler at weekends. Only had them in a few weeks

Hmmm...do you know the type of hair you have? Your sister should know grade and country of origin/ethnicity/if it is Remy and if it is virgin...as well as where she ordered them from.

As to what I recommend...
I'd start with Organic, Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Coconut Oil...dampen my hair with a spray bottle or my fingers and then apply the oil, avoiding your scalp and the beads...or they will slip. You want to warm the oil in your Palm and fingertips or let it sit in a cup...surrounded by really warm water until it becomes pliable and begins to soften..slightly melting. Run that through your hair shaft and ends...then twist gently, hair clip it up and cover with a shower cap or plastic bag. You can keep it on a few hours or sleep in it overnight. Then wash as usual..but condition only your ends after when you use this treatment. You don't want to weigh hair down.

I don't know which Dove you are using, but I know I personally would never use Dove on extensions. If you are going to spend big money on extensions, your shampoo and conditioner should be sulfate free and of salon quality...such as Pureology, for an example. I'd also be using a leave - in conditioner, such as "Pravana Nevo Intense Therapy" or "It's a 10 plus Keratin" as well as a quality heat protectant applied to wet hair if you blow dry (Chi Total Protect) or if you air dry, a protectant designed for that, such as "Rusk Thermal Shine".

Since they don't get oily because of the disconnect with the oils from your scalp, washing should be minimal, with little product and using cooler water. I'd run tiny bit of Argan or Apricot Oil through my hair on my fingertips...especially on the ends, but using a light touch.
Pureology Hydrate Shine Max is great on wet or dry hair for shine and keeping hair sleek and you need very little product, but it is pricey.

A great dry shampoo will reduce your need to wash and keep styles looking fresh.

Have you noticed a change in the texture or find them frizzing or tangling? Are they shedding? Thinning or fraying at the ends?
Keep in mind, true quality extensions should last 4 to 6 months...but this also varies based on styling, products, care, color, processing, etc.
Even so, you shouldn't be seeing any loss of shine or health after just a few weeks if it truly is top quality hair. I'm really hoping it is just a change in hair products and some deep conditioning that will help you out.

Thank you for the advice, I am waiting to hear back from my sister but I will try coconut oil tonight and invest in some of the products you mentioned. X.

Be sure it is,Organ and cold pressed, extra virgin, and not refined, as you see in supermarket. Heating the oil removes beneficial properties. You can find it any health store, Vitamin C or Whole Foods.

If they are thinning, shedding, fraying or tangling...then let me know. That is another issue to be addressed.
