Hello! I am looking for a matte or demi-matte/natural finish medium coverage foundation for my neutral-toned (which leans slightly more towards yellow) combo skin. My skin has an oily t-zone, chin and eyelids, with drier cheeks and dry undereyes. I would prefer a liquid or cream based foundation as my skin does not work well with powder, however if it was a cream-based powder (such as the Laura Geller balance-n-brighten) that would work too. My price range is nothing over 30 GBP (50 USD, 60 CAD, 40 Euros) and I do not mind drugstore or high-end. I have very pale skin (Fair in Laura Geller balance-n-brighten, 0 in Bobbi Brown Skin foundation, 0.5 in UD Naked Skin, Porcelain in Clarins skin illusion spf10 foundation, L'Oreal True Match and Revlon Colourstay does not have a shade light enough).
Just a little side note, I cannot use Maybelline as I am allergic to their products and I live in the UK so please only UK available products and I cannot order from Sephora as the shipping is extortionate.
If anybody knows of any good mattifying setting powders that work well with any foundations that you suggest, that would be fab :)

Thank you!

Have you tried the new Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation? It's so lovely! It works pretty well with every skin type, it is not too matte and it is not too luminous. It looks just like skin. It even looks good on skin with any type of texture. Their shade range is quite good so you will probably find a shade to suit your pale skin. I would say you are probably in the y205-115 range! it starts out at medium coverage but you can definitely build it to full. Setting it with the Make Up For Ever translucent powder also helps to keep it effortlessly matte. I think you might like it! If you try that one and you don't like it, some other good options are Laura Merciers Silk crème oil free foundation or Smashbox studio skin foundation.

Have you tried mac prolong wear foundation? nc10 is the lightest shade as far as I know, I'm nc15 and that is very pale. It's a demi matte finish and works well on combo skin which I have too. I think it's about 37euro so just under your budget too :-)

Loreal true match - it's amazing, lots of shades and it's not super matt, the finish is healthy looking, more like satin. :) I would check it out!
Makeup for beer hd foundation is really nice, blends in nicely!
Also urban decay is nice as well, it will leave your skin looking fresh! ❤️🙈

NARS all day weightless luminous would be amazing for you, I know you said £30 and its £32 but like, lookfantastic currently has 10% off so you could always make it in your price range. There's a great range of shades. It's Demi matte, not luminous and has great coverage, my skin isn't good and I don't need concealer with it. It lasts all day without need for a touch up on me, it doesn't accentuate dry patches either. Love it!

Thank you all so much!

Courtney - First off, thank you for all that detail! I've never tried MUFE or Laura Mercier but I love Smashbox. I'm going to go see if I can get samples! Thanks again :)

Rebecca - I think I'm really going to have to try that one and I found a website that does sample pots for incredibly cheap! The IT Cosmetics CC cream sounds fab, so many people have raved about it! Thank you :)

Rebecca J - I would love to try MAC but I haven't got one near me, I could always order off the website and send it back:) thanks!:)

Sisi - Unfortunately, I tried the L'Oreal True Match and they don't have one light enough, that's always the problem with drugstore foundation! I might have to try the MUFE and I loved the sample of the UD Naked Skin I tried! Thank you!

Rebecca B - I'm getting obsessed with NARS, their blushes and bronzers are to DIE for! I'm fine with on or around 30, a couple of quid more doesn't bother me! I like the idea of no concealer! It sounds fab, I'm definitely going to check it out! Thank you!:)

Sandra - Thank you! I'm always concerned about shades because of how pale I am, I am yet to find a drugstore foundation that actually matches my skin!
Ashley - I might have to try MAC plus I really want to buy like 5 of their lipsticks so trip to MAC it is! There's not one that's really near me (closest is like 1hr 30 mins driving) but I don't mind travelling!
