Beauty Savers: Things to Have Handy

One thing every woman should have in her purse is a mini survival kit. There are some items we girls should always have handy, but you never really know what you’re missing until you actually need it. That’s why it’s good to get a premade kit and go from there.
Ms. & Mrs. Minimergency Kit for Her has a little bit of everything in one small package. It comes with 16 essential items including hair spray, clear nail polish, nail polish remover, an emery board, lip balm, earring backs, clear elastics, sewing kit, double-sided tape, stain remover, deodorant towelette, pain reliever, dental floss, bandages, breath freshener, and tampon.
That’s a lot of stuff for a tiny kit, and it’s a great starting point (especially at only $13)! You may even find that you’d prefer to create one yourself.
If you’re still lacking in ideas, here are some items we love:
1. Makeup Remover Wipes
When eye liner smudges or mascara runs, a makeup-removing wipe will be a godsend. A small amount of wipes will easily fit into your bag.

2. Blotting Tissues
Oily skin can make you look tired and feel gross. Refresh your complexion by carrying around blotting papers to reduce excess oil. You can even get your sheets in fun prints or in an elegant case.

3. Hand Lotion
If you’re at work, at school, or even at home your hands probably go through a lot. Keep your hands (and cuticles) soft and moisturized.

I hoard all my little Gift-With-Purchase goodies and use them in my cosmetic bag. A couple lip colors, a fragrance sample, moisturizer, black eye pencil, tampon, pain relievers, gum, and a Bvlgari White Tea Towelette.

Safety pins and bobby pins are great to carry around also!

Instead of carrying blotting papers you could use Urban Decay's De-Slick. I think it's a god send and last ages!

I think all 3 are essential, but I also add eye drops (hate red eyes) and when flying, I find my eyes get a little red.....one drop in each eye and I look refreshed. X

I have all three! The Josie Maran wipes are amazing! I carry Boscia blotting linens and Tocca hand cream in my purse.
