Traditionally associated as a subcultural beauty statement, dark lipstick has always been an outlandish sign of rebellion. These days however, the look is more gorgeous than gory and there are many ways to rock black lips in warm weather. We love how Iva G. pairs her inky satin lips with a sublte smoky eye, while Felipe B. creates a unique, avant-garde effect with piercing smoke-black eye makeup.

I love it. I have a dark lipstick that I love and it goes well with a little winged eyeliner. But I do think it depends on skin tone as well. Just like I don't find light colors to suit my olive/caramel skin tone as much.
