Smells so good!

I got my paws on this in an Ulta sample set and when I got it, I opened its cute little container and I immediately fell in love. I loved it so much that I went and bought this for my boyfriend for an anniversary gift and every time he wears it, I just can not get off of him! He just smells so good! I definitely recommend this! You wont be sorry!

AWESOME SAUCE!!!!

I tried this foundation on in the store and I loved it so I splurged like the careless shopper I am and took it home with me <3 and our relationship has been wonderful ever since! I wear this foundation with Ulta stay matte primer and I use MAC studio finish concealer to cover up the worst of my blemishes and then I put a light coat of this foundation on my face (Remember less is generally more when it comes to foundation), and then I set it with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural.

My skin type is dry, but I moisturize it constantly. I have minor acne and I'm Swiss. Ergo, my skin is about as pale as a snowman's butt so for me, its VERY hard to find foundation in my color. This foundation, I got in my color. I actually got the shade NW10. Its pale, haha. but that's awesome! Anyways, this foundation looked the most natural for me IF and only if I apply only what is needed, and because I cover up most of my issues with concealer, I only need the foundation to even out my skin tone so that means a little goes a long way. This foundation dries fast (Not an issue for me), it doesn't transfer onto my poor boyfriend or cell phone like the other foundations I've used in the past, It doesn't get cakey and doesn't break apart or smear or crease or anything like that, and trust me, I put this baby to the test. I wore full face makeup to Sixflags in 80+ degree weather, rode roller coasters until I couldn't see straight and did it all in about.. hmmm... 11 hours? and when I got home my foundation looked a bit shiny from all the sweat (I couldn't powder my face all day though) but other than that, it was perfect. No lie, this is probably my holy grail foundation. I love it! I have used literally every drug store foundation out there, plus Lancome, Dior, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Stilla and Bare Minerals. The Lancome was my favorite, I'm not gonna lie, but it was to pricey for me to continue using it but this foundation is a close second!!! Id only recommend this for those who aren't going to use this foundation very generously. It gives about a medium coverage so don't expect it to be able to cover all your blemishes on its own :) Id also strongly recommend a good face primer and setting spray/powder. xx :)

PS: Remember its always essential to apply foundation with good quality tools. What you apply your foundation with can make or break your flawless finish so choose wisely! :)

Could be better.

My only complaint with this is that the color is very light and isn't as vibrant or pigmented as I had hoped. The darker color is a very light grey and the lighter color is a tiny TINY bit frosty with glitter. It seemed to stay put until I needed it off (was on for about 3-4 hours), and it came off very easily. This product did not crease on my normal lids. This product just wasn't the best for me. If it seems like something you would like, then go for it. xx:)

In this case, unfortunately, you do not get what you pay for.

I bought this about 3-4 weeks ago and at first it was OK but nothing more. I wasn't in awe like I expected and it didn't seem to shave as close as the Venus that I was originally using did. The shaving cream bar doesn't last very long, which I didn't expect that it would and it isn't my main disappointment but still. The razor blades also get easily clogged with hair but unlike other razors, the hair will not come out which makes it work a lot less. I didn't notice any dramatic difference in my skin afterwards either as far a moisturizing and hydrating goes. It doesn't leave razor bumps, wont cut or nick you accidently and also seems to be durable as I have dropped it numerous times and it is still in one piece, which are all good things to find in a razor but it isn't hard to find a razor for a cheaper price that does the same thing. All in all, this was not what I expected. To me, it needs that special something. I paid $13.00 for a razor that doesn't work how it claims or how I hoped. I would not purchase again.

Amazing hairspray!

I started working at Aveda in 2011 and the minute I got my paws on this, I bought 3 cans of it. It is hairspray like you have never seen before. It isn't sticky, doesn't make your hair hard ( a working hairspray that doesn't make your hair rock hard? Yep.) and it definitely doesn't flake and washes out easily. It is a mild hairspray, it will not help to hold your hair straight up in the air or anything crazy but it does a good job with most everything else. Its great if you are wearing your hair down and want to tame frizz, wearing your hair up and want a nice slick finish, adding hold to an updo or curl or wave, you name it! Its good for teasing too, and the best part is that no one will ever be able to tell that you have hairspray in your hair. This product does have an herbal smell to it but it's Aveda, what do you expect? I have no issue with the smell, I like it. A ton of my clients asked me about this hairspray after using it on them and many of them took a can home with them. I'd say, if you want a nice natural looking finish then this is your hairspray.

At first I was like: Uuhhh.. BUT then I was like: Yay!

When I first got this, I have to admit, the thing that drew me to this mascara was the fact that it was covered in pretty colors... the claims it advertised didn't sound half bad either. I have medium length, thick, dark eyelashes. When I first applied this, It was a disaster. It went on thick and after about 3-4 coats (er... that's probably my first mistake with this mascara.) I had ginormous spider leg lashes. I'm not a huge fan of those. I even contacted Maybelline afterwards to get my money back! I never ended up actually going through with it because I couldn't find my receipt so basically, I was stuck with it. That was depressing at the time but now I'm quite happy that it went that way. After I used it for about 2 weeks, I started to change up my original mascara technique to suite this new mascara and I also have noticed that the formula has gotten less thick and gloppy over time so that's good and makes it easier to manage.

My technique to apply this mascara is to start at the base of my [upper] lashes, I hold it there for a second and then I wiggle the wand up my lashes and I do that for 1-2 more coats and then voila! Mascara looks great. It really does a better job than my last 3 mascaras (Maybelline Original Great Lash, Covergirl Volume Exact and Covergirl Lash Blast) I also did not use a primer so I have no clue how this mascara would work with a primer. I am now very happy with my mascara. I think the major downside as of now is knowing that Maybelline tests on animals but I didn't know that until AFTER I bought this so now, I'm not to sure I will repurchase. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you and you like what you've read then I'd say, give it a try! xx :)

The way it makes my skin feel is pretty much heavenly.

When I got my paws on this I was very excited about it because I am a big fan of facial/body scrubs! I also really like the Clinique line as well. This exfoliating scrub makes my face feel very clean and minty. I LOVE minty! I collect minty products, no kidding, for early mornings. They are the only thing I look forward to in morning showers, honestly. They make me feel refreshed and awake and I am NOT a morning person so they are just what I need to wake up and get going. This scrub is pretty minty, so that is a huge plus for me. I have to watch what I put on my face because a lot of things will easily break my face out; this product did not irritate my skin and/or break me out at all. I also have skin that easily gets dried out so I have to watch what I put on it and thankfully, this did not dry my face out at all so that's awesome! It does have a lot of exfoliating power and a lot of times if you have acne, something like this is a huge no no but I disregarded that, which may have or may have not been very irresponsible but fortunately it had no negative effects on my face and I continue to use it and love it, especially for early morning showers. I'm happy to meet up with an exfoliating scrub that is actually exfoliating. All in all this product is one of my favorites. I'd recommend trying it out but please PLEASE be cautious and GENTLE with any type of facial exfoliant, especially if you have acne and especially with this particular scrub. xx :)

A decent product.

I got this on a whim about 2-3 weeks ago. I really love the texture of this moisturizer, It feels like velvet on my skin and dries nicely. I think the only downside of this product is that it doesn't seem as moisturizing as other moisturizers I have tried. This doesn't seem like a bad product at all but I'm not so sure I would purchase it again simply because it is somewhat pricey and didn't seem to help my dry winter skin as much as I had hoped BUT it didn't break me out and I have acne prone skin that breaks out somewhat easily so finding a moisturizer that is kind to my acne sure is one heck of a plus! xx :)

The best thing I have tried so far for my acne.

I recently got my paws on this set and I've been using it for about 2-3 months. So far, It has helped a ton compared to other acne systems I have tried but of course is has yet to completely cure my acne for good but at the same time, that is probably my fault. The type of acne I have is affected by hormones, what I eat, and what I put on my face so for me, nothing will completely cure my acne unless I'm exercising, watching what goes on my face, and eating healthy which I have to admit, I'm not always so great at doing. If you have acne like mine then I'd say this will help cure the worst parts of your acne. This system also seemed to break my face out for the first couple of days (maybe for a week) but then everything just slowly started to disappear so I'm going to assume it is the type of acne system that breaks your face out a tad just before it starts to show that its working, which isn't always bad and it didn't bother me but I wouldn't recommend this for a quick overnight fix or anything like that. It takes some time to work and takes commitment and of course, you have to use it as directed. It did dry my face out a little at first but that was fixed with lowering the dosage of the Clearing Moisturizer. Overall This product was very kind to me and I was not disappointed. I would probably buy it again and I would also recommend giving it a try. xx :)
