Even in just the few weeks since I filmed this vlog so much has continued to change. Truly feels like an entire new life we have just been placed into. Editing this took me a bit because I've been working with 2 classrooms remotely and trying to support and guide all the students in the remote learning transition was a task and a half! Little by little we are getting there and our 1.1M students in NYC are settling into their new normals. It's a lot. Everything going on in the world right now. It's a lot to handle but we don't have to do it alone. Actually we CAN'T do it alone. If nothing else, my heart is absolutely warmed by everyone stepping up, working together and making EVERYthing work (not just teachers and not just essentials, we all have a part)!
I am proud to be a teacher in this beautiful city of mine. I love you bunches NYC!
