Hey ladies I want your opinions. I wanted to know if you all think that more expensive hair products are better for your hair. I hear a lot of mixed reviews on this subject and wanna know your reasons. Thinking of spending a bit more if the results will be better lol.

I dint think so yes they might do this and that but they have lots and lots of chemicals so no it doesn't matter the price everything works better if its affordable and if you now it works :)

Depends on the product and how your hair reacts to it. Tbh my hair likes most of the cheapie ones lol but there's also Highend such as Joico that my hair absolutely loves :)

I think personally that the less chemicals a product has, the better it will be for my hair. Thats why I love LUSH products for some of my hair stuff; I think natural ingredients always work the best for me.

so basically, higher end is not necessarily better...whatever has better ingredients will be a better product regardless of whether it is high-end or drugstore.

Jess-

Watch out, some lush products have some bad chemicals. I still love lush, just remember to check labels lol.

A good example for the lush problem is my snow fairy shower gel, still expensive but disappointing ingredients.

Not necessarily, I mean I'm careful about what I put in my hair as I'm a natural girl who doesn't like sulphates and that doesn't exactly mean costly, just picky, as not all sulphate free shampoos, though I mostly look for a good conditioner as a I Cowash a lot, are the same. I generally spend anywhere from $7-$12 on shampoo and $5-$12 on conditioner, but I run through conditioner faster then shampoo.

Not necessarily I use an argan oil shampoo and conditioner that costs me?1 for each and its the best I've ever used!

I don't think so. I've never tried higher end products but all my cheapos work great.

Scratch that, I did try a Lush shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo was nice, I might buy it again. But the conditioner was blehh.

I don't think so. I have never bought anything past 7 dollars for my hair, and my hair grows fast and thick. But I really think it depends on the individual.
