What is everyone's favorite primer?? Drug store or high end. Also either matte or a laminating one. Cuz sometimes I like to be matte and sometimes dewy. Just depends on the day. I need a new primer and wanna try something new. I have combo skin and some break outs. Thanks ladies!!

I've heard amazing things about the Too Faced Primed & Poreless and the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer.

I like the Smashbox Hydrating Primer and Too Faced Primed and Poreless, depending on the state of my skin and on the foundation I want to use that day. For drier foundations, I like the hydrating primer, and for more dewy foundations and tinted moisturizers/bb/cc creams I like the Primed and Poreless to keep it from slipping off.

Smashbox photo finish is my favorite primer! It's like $32 so it's a little pricey, but a little goes a long way and it's soooo worth it. My makeup looks so much better and last longer when I use it.

I love Benefit PoreFessionals but right now as far as drugstores go, I am really loving L'Oreal's Magic Lumi Primer but it does give off a very illuminated dewy finish but I love that! Its not a brand new product but I'm glad I tried it though! I do have really dry skin, so it may or may not work for you. I really don't think Maybelline Baby Skin would be good for oily/combo skin.

If you are going to go with Smashbox, save yourself some cash and get the Monistat Chaffing Gel. It's nearly identical. For cereal!

Roz does monistant really work well? I've heard of doing that n was thinking of tryin it out? is it matte or dewy? I'm assuming matte but not sure.

It really does work and has the same consistency as Smashbox. It feels like silicone and in my view is slightly satin..leaning toward matte. If you are prone to breakouts or have oily skin, it would not be a good fit though.

I personally use Hourglass (both of theirs) and they are my current favorites, but they are pricey.
