Honestly tho guys it's not even that I think what she wanted was to know what makeup he likes best, which isn't changing your self. just simply do your makeup in a way that you think makes your self look best and feel confident and if he doesn't like that then chances are he won't like you with any other makeup. And this isn't me being mean it's the truth! I think that some of you have taken this out of proportion. She wasn't trying to change her self she was just trying to dress up extra special for some one she likes which isn't sad, it's cute and will show this guy that you care. So yes be your self but know that it's not a bad thing to dress up for someone you like. And I fact you should do it

I would say no make-up. Show YOU, if he only thinks you look good with your face caked in make-up or something than he is mot worth it. He should like you for you! Good luck!! :)

I went out on a first date with an older guy last night. I just turned 18 and he's 21. My makeup was really simple the night that we met (I was out to dinner with a girlfriend) so I kept it really simple for our date.
Just go with good skin, a nice natural but defined brow and lashes. I wore a few individual lashes to make my eyes pop a little bit. He thought I looked gorgeous!
I think older guys like the more natural look. I tried to make it look effortless, in the words of Beyoncé "I woke up like this." 😊

Like other people said, natural is the way to go. Don't distract him with a clown face (not saying full makeup is a clown face so don't get mad lol) show him YOU. I remember when I was trying to impress guys. Then I met this kid on this Internet, and we fell in love with each others personalities. Then we sent pictures to each other and ended up dating and here we are 5 years later, we visit each other every summer :) so the moral of that story, show a guy your true personality, and you'll find one worth keeping ;)

Well usually guys just say they prefer none to minimal make up but what they mean is that they like the "no makeup, makeup look", I hope that makes sense. However, I'd say wear your make up the way you normally would whether it be minimal or full face, because if you do end up in a relationship with him then that's how you'll look most of the time anyway :)

Agreeing with Olivia! Before I got with my boyfriend (I've been with him for a year, I'm 16) I never wore any makeup when I saw him. When, and if you get with him, he honestly shouldn't care whether you wear makeup or not. He should think you're beautiful with and without. Wear makeup for yourself, never for anyone else.
