Although you can't help your hormones you can treat the skin by heading off the breakouts before they come ,hormonal breakouts, are still comedones that start from bacteria so fighting the bacteria with salicylic acid products and fighting inflammation with antioxidants does help, and spot treating them with tee tree oil but checking with your doctor can always help

^ what the other ladies have said.
cleansers can't clear up hormonal breakouts. if it's really terrible, I would talk to your doctor about a low dose birth control that might help even you out.
I really like Clean & Clear & Neutrogena cleansers. I also like to use pore strips 2-3 times a week, & a clay mask once a week.

@Janelle, I use the Biore pore strips. now, a lot of people say they don't work for them - & they didn't work for me either - until I started applying them immediately after getting out of the shower.
apparently there's also a baking soda trick you can try if they don't work for you, but I don't know what that is so you'll have to YouTube it :p

I highly recommend you visit a LUSH. I've been using yheir skincare for around 2 years and I love it. they give complimentary skin consultations in the store and offer samples. here's a pic of me with only eyeliner and mascara on.
