What I usually do it take some hair from the front and twist it to the back. Bobby pin it so it stays. Also taking two pieces from the front and bringing them to the back. You can do each with either a braid or just regular piece of hair. I hope I helped and didn't confuse you!

I have long curly hair, but I honestly never style it lol. it's already pretty just being curly. I'd check pinterest for hairstyles. make sure to get trims regularly. coconut oil & olive oil will help keep it strong & moisturized. I like Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner. makes my hair so soft. also try some hair masks & leave in conditioners.

I have curly hair as well & the best protective style I've had luck with was the high bun. it's easy & super protective to the ends of your hair.

Memekeeley uses two French braids to grow her hair. She leaves them in for like a week then wears her hair out.

I'm also growing out my curly hair and I find that braids help a lot. Buns are alright but it always seems like my ends get kind of kinked which can't be good for keeping them healthy. Plus braids are super versatile!

My go to styles are scrunching my hair with a diffuser attachment on my blowdryer and high messy buns. they use little/no heat and only take about 5 mins to do. also, when I do straighten my hair I use a ton of leave in hair moisturizer and I try not to wash it for a day or two so my hair can revive a bit.
