I'm going to buy a new mascara,maybe two,so what's the best mascara that you've used and that volumizes your lashes? And what do you think about the Rimmel Scandal eyes show off mascara? :)

For higher end mascaras, I absolutely love Benefit They're Real mascara. it adds insane length & volume to my lashes. just so perfect.
for drugstore brands, I really like the Covergirl Professional mascara, in the blue tube.

I'm with Kyra. They're Real gives CRAZY length and volume. Only thing I hate is how expensive it is. You can get a similar (some say better) look with Mabelline mascaras though.

My number one thing with mascaras is to ALWAYS use a primer beforehand. I like the Lancôme Cils Booster XL primer, because although it's pricey, you can layer it and it lasts forever. It's worth it to me because I actually use it every day. Aside from that, a drugstore mascara that I love is the Maybelline Lash Stiletto. It's a great formula, It's very wet so if that's not your thing I don't recommend it, but it does dry fast. It has a nice, skinny wand that picks up all of the extra lashes that nothing else gets, and the waterproof version is also gorgeous. for high end, a mascara that I use literally every day is the Per-Fekt Lash Perfection Gel, and it's amazing. Also more of a wet formula, but not too wet, if that makes sense. It dries quickly and doesn't smudge at all whatsoever. It's also nourishing for your lashes, so I really really like that. Especially because most mascaras are so harsh on your lashes, it's nice to find something that you can use every day that won't destroy them or break them down. This one also has a good skinny brush, that really picks up everything. I've never, ever had this mascara clump, either. Those are my current top two!

Hanna, what exactly does eyelash primer do? I mean, I don't know if it's just the brand I use but my They're Real mascara lasts for days and I don't use primer. I literally have to scrub my lashes to get that stuff off sometimes...

It's not that it promotes longevity, it's that it lengthens your lashes without actually applying mascara. Does that make sense? It coats your lashes, and makes them longer and also thickens them a bit so that when you apply mascara it accentuates your lashes even more. I suck at explaining things, I'm sorry!

If you have sensitive eyes (like I do) I would really recommend purchasing a Clinique mascara. They have a variety to choose from and they really are worth every penny as you get mega good results but also they don't tend to smudge;I personally think that maybelline mascaras smudge too easily.

Happy to help! There aren't really any drugstore options, but a good, cheaper version is the Clinique Lash Primer, it's available at Sephora for $15, as opposed to the Lancôme, which is $25.

@Ashley, that's odd because I use the They're Real mascara as well & I find it quite easy to get off.
I use MUFE Sens'Eyes waterproof remover & it takes the mascara right off with very little rubbing. maybe look into a good makeup remover as well? (:

Kyra, I definitely need to invest in a good makeup remover. Right now I use Neutrogena makeup wipes which is good for my face but it's difficult to remove eyeliner and mascara.

I love rimmel's max bold curves mascara!! I use it as a first coat and maybelline the rocket (another fave) as a second coat. My lashes look looooong, thick, and dramatic exactly how I like them :)
